A 3rd birthday party fit for a fairy!
{All by CVDB Designs unless otherwise stated}
It all started with a little girl's wish to be a fairy..
So I set to work! I wanted it to be a magical, whimsical event full of pastel pink prettiness.
Invitation for Imke's 3rd birthday
Every little girl got fairy wings, a tulle tutu and a fairy wand
All the boys got an elf hat, belt, foam sword and a magic wand
Guests got a little box which they could fill with treats from the candy buffet
On the candy buffet was a sign that said
"The sugarplum fairy
invites you to munch
sweeties galore for your
snack time or lunch
fill up your treat box
one time or ten
we'll worry about the tooth
fairy tomorrow again"
The birthday cake was made by a friend, who unfortunately doesn't bake anymore.
It was exquisite and delicious!
There were about 25 little guests to seat so I had a table made (by my dad) especially.
Every guest had a toadstool pillow to sit on.
Two very special "Fairy Godmothers" welcomed the guests and helped them choose an ensemble.
There was also a welcome sign as mom can't always be right there when guests arrive.
For Decor, I sewed felt toadstools which we placed all around the party area.
And finally, here are a few of the little fairies and elves
